Features:

Handwritten Notes and Drawings

     Used with a Tablet PC, Profiler offers the flexibility for notes to be entered in 3 forms: 1) typed, 2) handwritten, or 3) handwriting recognition to convert into text.  Providers can write directly on the screen with a pen and store handwritten notes and drawings, allowing for quick data entry and easy annotation of physical exams.  Unlike handheld / palm devices that require you to use its own set of characters, providers can write out sentences normally just as on paper.

     Profiler also work on non-Tablet PC systems with a keyboard and mouse.

Automatic Calculation of CPT® Codes

     Providers lose hundreds of thousands of dollars a year on incorrect billing codes, overhead for staff to determine CPT codes, and inadequate documentation associated with the billing level.  Profiler's innovative coding engine automatically and seamlessly determines the CPT code in realtime as the provider is entering the SOAP notes in front of the patient.  The CPT billing code is automatically updated as the provider performs more tasks on the patient, allowing the provider to know the billing level while still with the patient, ensures that proper documentation is provided to support that level, and eliminates an additional staff having to determine the CPT code after the encounter.

Built-in ICD Codes

     No more looking up ICD codes in books.  Save time by selecting assessments from a list of frequently used diagnoses that you can customize.  For less common ICD codes, providers can type in key phrases and search for a particular code.  Once a code is selected, the code and description are added to the patient's assessments and the encounter form.

Patient Census & Profile

See on one page a complete profile of the patient, including the patient’s Problem List, Active Meds, Alerts, Items to Follow Up / Monitor, and Allergies.

Check the Patient Census by facility with their room number and follow up notes before making rounds.

Lab Results

     Enter and view lab results and check trends and high / low values.

Rx Order Entry & Drug Database

     Quickly enter and print orders and prescriptions. Easily select meds from a database of drugs that includes brand and generic names, doses, route, sig. Prescriptions are printed individually so controlled substances can be separated.
